This is one of the top outfitters in Patagonia. I first fished with them in 1998 and they continue to exceed all expectations. The great fishing will begin in Los Alerces National Park where we will float one of 3 great rivers. After a great meal and comfortable night's sleep at El Trebol Lodge we will float the productive and remote/private Rio Chubut for 3 days fishing and 2 nights of comfortable glamping. The dry fly action to browns and rainbows from 12-19 inches is non-stop and the food prepared by the camp staff amazing. After our expedition we go to a 30,000 acre private estancia that gives us over 20 miles of exclusive access to the Rio Guiljaina where again browns and rainbows in the 16-22 inch class love to explode on hoppers. Nov 7-14, 2027  Untamed Angling / Rio Marie - Brazil              $8,7600 per person (7 nights / 6 days guided fishing)

The largest peacock bass in the world are in this part of the Amazon and no outfitter with more experience.   I can't imagine hooked up to a 20lb peacock on a popper in one of the most remote and important places on the planet.  Like Africa, the Amazon is one of those places that we humans should try and visit and understand.  The dates selected are, more or less, in the middle of the season which runs from mid Aug -to early Feb.  At this time, water levels are historically at there lowest and makes it prime time to target these amazingly beautiful, powerful, acrobatic apex predators. There are many Youtube videos to watch about Rio Marie and they are excellent and will get you pumped for this trip.  I hope to bring at least one of my two sons on this epic adventure.
